The Spring 2019 issue of The Pilot celebrates art, craftsmanship, and creativity, and the Northwestern alumni who engage in making things. The task of making a magazine about makers required special attention to the imagery and illustration to honor the talent and skill of our featured artists. A limited run of gold foiled covers was created for special friends of the institution. This issue was 44 pages in length, had a circulation of more than 23,000, and was my final contribution to the University of Northwestern Advancement Communications team.
