In 2013, Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota was renamed University of Northwestern, in a move to more accurately represent the broader educational offerings of the institution. That change required some updates logos to reflect the new name, so my job was to honor the existing Eagle branding while introducing the new 'UNW' initialism and mark. After design and approval, I was tasked with implementing the new brand across print, digital, apparel, uniform, and environmental applications.
